How it all connects (picture)

System diagram — The hotspot gets internet → the Wi-Fi box shares it → the camera and your phone both join that Wi-Fi.

Turn on the internetAbout 3 minutes

Turn on the battery.Plug a USB-C cable from the battery into the Wi-Fi box and another into the hotspot.
Turn on the hotspot.Hold its button for about 2 seconds until the screen lights up.
Power button is on the left side.
Connect the internet cable.Plug one end into the hotspot and the other into the Wi-Fi box port labeled WAN (right next to the power cable). Push until it clicks.
Set it all down near the backstop.Shade is best. Keep it out of the rain.
Join the team Wi-Fi on your phone.Settings → Wi-Fi → Elevate Travel 5G → password baseball2025. It may take a minute to appear after you turn things on.

Set up the cameraAbout 4 minutes

Turn on the camera.Hold the power button on the back for 3 seconds until it beeps.
Back of camera: power button on top, round mic hole in the middle, USB-C power at the bottom.
Plug in power and the mic.Plug the 3rd USB-C cable from the battery into the bottom of the camera. Plug the microphone cable into the round hole on the back.
Screw the camera onto the fence clamp.
Open the Mevo app.If it asks to use Local Network or Bluetooth, tap Allow. It's the black icon with the round camera lens.

Tap “Connect Mevo.”Wait a few seconds for the camera picture to show up on your phone.
Under the camera it should say Elevate Travel 5G.
Clip it to the fence behind home plate.Higher is better!
Aim it using the picture on your phone.You should see home plate, 1st base and 3rd base. Make sure the picture is level, not tilted.

Camera won't show up?Your phone and the camera must both be on Elevate Travel 5G. Check your phone's Wi-Fi first.

Go liveAbout 2 minutes

In GameChanger, open today's game and tap the red “Record Video.”
Choose “External camera.”
Set who can watch to “Anyone,” then tap Continue.
Tap “Mevo.”Then tap Launch Mevo App – it switches you over to Mevo.
In Mevo, double-check it's today's game, then tap “GO LIVE.”The green GameChanger “GC” circle should have a check mark, and the game name should match.
Go back to GameChanger and make sure the video is playing.If you can see it there, families can too. 🎉 You're done until the game ends.

During the gameLeave your phone on the team Wi-Fi and keep an eye on the battery level now and then.

After the gameAbout 3 minutes

Stop the stream in Mevo.Slide the red button at the bottom-left to the right.
Leave “Save to Mevo SD card” turned ON, then tap Done.This keeps a backup copy of the game.
End it in GameChanger too.Open the live video, tap the ⋯ (three dots), then End Stream.
Turn everything off and pack up.Each piece goes back in its spot in the case. Cables go in the cable bag.

Something not working?

I can't find “Elevate Travel 5G” on my phone

Give it 1–2 minutes after turning on the battery.
Make sure the Wi-Fi box has power (lights on).

My phone is on the Wi-Fi but there's no internet

Check the hotspot screen is on and showing signal.
Push the internet cable in firmly at both ends (WAN port on the Wi-Fi box).
Still nothing? Unplug everything, wait 10 seconds, plug it all back in, and turn the hotspot back on.

The Mevo app can't find the camera

Your phone and the camera both need to be on Elevate Travel 5G.
Make sure the camera is on (hold power 3 seconds until it beeps).
Make sure you tapped Allow for Local Network and Bluetooth. If you missed it, turn it on for Mevo in your phone's Settings.

Families say they can't see the video

In GameChanger, check the audience was set to Anyone.
In Mevo, make sure the game name matches today's game.
